I Saw Desperation Clearly. He was small and thin, I could see his bones through his thin and pale skin. He turned and gasped softly, groping for my jacket. I saw his feeble posture, hunched over clinging to his meek rags, trying to stay warm in the dead of winter. I heard his weak groan again, tears slowly making their way down his gaunt features. And I felt dismayed and helpless.
Desperation is gray like the bleak alleyways of the world’s metropoli. It sounds like the sobbing of a thousand starving men. It feels like helplessness and fear, groveling to survive. &

Yet even some wear half a mask, but still it is a mask. Few, no, none wear no mask, no man nor woman. Only the infants and the young, who know not the perils of life wear none. A mask is but protection, just as a shield may protect its user. But the masks do come off,
